This tea is the pursuit of the perfect balance of old world and new. Australian grown Sencha is blended with complex and rich Matcha from Nishio, Japan. The Sencha is grown by Aussie farmers to strict Japanese standards in Wangaratta, northern Victoria, whilst the Matcha is grown in the southern Japanese region of Nishio, which is the finest location for Matcha production in Japan.
We recommend pairing this with the traditional New Year breakfast of Ozōni and 15 minutes of day dreaming about the powdery Japanese ski slopes.
TASTING NOTES
Produces a vivid liquor that bursts with a bold grassy nose. The silken mouth feel is accentuated by a perfect balance of buttery sweetness and a lingering gentle acidity.
